A NOTE FROM THE EXPEDITION

Please keep all wings inside the vehicle.

Tap the sand to set off. Peck a promising spot until its treasure comes loose. Your assistant will do the heavy lifting.

THE DESERT DIVISION

Bring a bigger cart.

Dr. Pip is searching the desert for history. Baby Bean is searching for everything Pip just dropped.

  1. Walk the desert. Hold the arrow buttons, use ← → or A / D, or click the sand to choose a destination. Hold Shift or the Run button to move faster.
  2. Poke holes. Look for small sand mounds, cracks, and scattered stones. Click a suspicious patch to walk over and jab. Most finds take two pecks. Heavy finds need four; wall plaster takes three and cracks as you work. Space or P pokes just ahead of your beak. Some finds leave no surface clue at all. Press S or Sniff to reveal nearby hidden spots for six seconds. Once poked, a hole remains visible.
  3. Leave it to Bean. Your tiny assistant picks up discoveries, carries them back, and tosses them onto the cart. A cache of chickens means multiple chickens.
  4. Question your packing. Bean loads heavy finds low. Pause for a few seconds after pickups and he climbs aboard to restack and tie a separate rope around each item. Each finished knot stays tied if you move away. New loose finds can still fall until he repacks. Bean tries to catch reachable pieces and retrieves anything he misses.
  5. Enter a pyramid. Click a doorway or use Enter pyramid / E. Pip runs to the nearest doorway and waits for Bean to gather and tie down the luggage. The depot unloads your cart into the warehouse before you enter the next area. E takes the nearest route.
  6. Reach the oasis. Explore the desert, the oasis, the pyramid chambers, and the Great Tomb deeper inside. Each area succeeds once Bean has collected and individually tied down every item. Earlier collections live in the expandable warehouse manifest. Egyptian antiquities and complete nonsense receive equal academic respect.

Progress saves automatically. Click a manifest item for its field notes. Escape closes these pages.

Another lap of the desert?

This clears the desert expedition, cart, and manifest.
